ABI Certifications™ Accredited Training Center (ATC) Framework
ABI Certifications™ operates a structured Accredited Training Center (ATC) framework to support the delivery of certification-related training while maintaining centralized certification governance, impartiality, and credential integrity.
The ATC framework enables qualified organizations to deliver ABI Certifications™-approved training programs within their approved accreditation scope, while all certification decisions and certificate issuance remain exclusively under the authority of ABI Certifications™.
Purpose of ATC Accreditation
The purpose of ATC accreditation is to ensure that training delivered in support of ABI Certifications™ certification schemes is consistent, controlled, and aligned with defined quality, governance, and certification requirements.
ATC accreditation authorizes approved training delivery within the defined accreditation scope but does not authorize an ATC to make certification decisions or issue ABI Certifications™ certificates.
Certification Authority and Role Separation
ABI Certifications™ operates as the certification authority, while Accredited Training Centers operate as authorized training delivery organizations.
All certification reviews, assessment validation, certification decisions, and certificate issuance remain exclusively under the authority of ABI Certifications™ and are performed in accordance with defined certification requirements.
This formal separation supports:

Responsibilities of ABI Certifications™
ABI Certifications™ retains full authority and responsibility for:

• Maintenance of certification records and online verification
Responsibilities of Accredited Training Centers (ATCs)
Accredited Training Centers are authorized, within their approved accreditation scope, to:
• Deliver ABI Certifications™-approved training programs
• Provide learning support aligned with approved syllabi and learning outcomes
• Manage learner registration and attendance
• Maintain accurate training delivery and attendance records
• Comply with applicable monitoring, reporting, and accreditation requirements
Scope of ATC Accreditation
ATC accreditation is granted for a defined and approved scope.
The accreditation scope may specify:
• Approved certification programs
• Approved instructors
• Authorized delivery modes (classroom, virtual, or blended)
• Approved training locations
ATC accreditation does not authorize an ATC to:
• Make certification decisions
• Issue ABI Certifications™ certificates
• Represent itself as an independent certification body
All ABI Certifications™ certificates are issued exclusively by ABI Certifications™.
Eligibility Requirements for ATCs
Organizations applying for ATC accreditation are expected to demonstrate organizational capability, professional competence, and compliance with applicable accreditation requirements.
Eligibility requirements may include:

ATCs may not:
• Represent themselves as a certification body
• Issue certificates on behalf of ABI Certifications™
• Modify certification requirements or certification outcomes
