ABI Certifications™
Professional Certification Programs for Career Development Established in the United States of America (USA)
ABI Certifications™ is an independent international professional certification body responsible for the development, governance, assessment, and issuance of professional certifications for individuals and organizations operating within project management, technical, construction, inspection, and quality management disciplines.
ABI Certifications™ functions as the certification authority responsible for certification scheme design, governance, assessment frameworks, certification decisions, credential issuance, and online verification. Our certification frameworks are structured to support professional credibility, consistency, and international confidence across diverse operational environments.

Organizational Overview
ABI Certifications™ has been structured as a centralized certification authority designed to meet modern professional and industry expectations. The organization operates independently from training delivery activities and applies defined governance controls to ensure impartiality and integrity in certification outcomes.
Certification schemes developed by ABI Certifications™ are competence-based and role-oriented, reflecting real professional responsibilities rather than training attendance alone. Certification decisions are made through controlled processes aligned with established certification requirements.

Independent and Impartial Certification
Certification credibility depends on governance, impartiality, and separation of functions. ABI Certifications™ operates under a structured certification governance model designed to safeguard objectivity and professional trust.
Key governance principles include:
• Clear separation between certification authority, training delivery, and assessment support
• Independent certification decision-making
• Defined eligibility, assessment, and certification requirements
• Controlled issuance, suspension, and withdrawal of certifications
• Maintenance of certification records and verification systems
While training programs may be delivered through Approved Training Instructors or ABI Certifications™–Accredited Training Centers (ATCs), all certification reviews, decisions, and certificate issuance are conducted exclusively by ABI Certifications™.
Accredited Training Centers (ATCs)
To support global accessibility, ABI Certifications™ operates an Accredited Training Center (ATC) framework. Accredited Training Centers are organizations that have been formally evaluated and authorized to deliver ABI Certifications™-approved training programs under defined accreditation conditions.
ATC accreditation confirms that an organization demonstrates:
• Appropriate training delivery infrastructure (classroom and/or virtual)
• Instructor competence aligned with approved program scope
• Controlled learner registration, attendance, and record management
• Compliance with approved syllabi and delivery requirements
• Ongoing monitoring and reporting obligations
ATC accreditation authorizes training delivery only.
Certification decisions and certificate issuance remain exclusively with ABI Certifications™.
